A absolutely beautifully written personal essay taking us into the world of being a teenage girl and drawing us in almost as though it was fiction. You remind us all what it feels like to want to fit in and of the invisible hurdles that make it hard to genuinely connect, to forge friendships in the real world, and importantly to feel like a part of a team. It is easy to see the parallels with adult life and the need to belong we all carry. This is a truly inspiring and satisfying read. Great writing as always Melissa.
