I loved this piece and the richness of your family. Thank you for sharing the lessons they have given you, the love you have for them is tangible. My only question, and I'm new to Medium so my apologies if there is a way to ask privately, but can I ask why the pictures you included were of caucasian grandparents? I would have loved to have seen images of vibrant Indian families, and wondered if you felt that the piece would have received less attention if you did? Sorry again, if that is not appropriate to ask, and thank you for a beautiful piece of writing.
